Medical assisting schools train give training towards jobs as medical assistant. A certificate or diploma program lasts less than 12 months. A rewarding career helping patients in a doctor’s office awaits. A medical assisting degree takes at least 2 years to complete. The job prospects look good. Some schools offer online training so if you can’t leave your present job that is an option to consider. You may want to make sure the school is accredited though CAAHEP or ABHES.
