Use Law School Rankings as a Good Starting Point
There are many things to keep in mind when choosing a law school. The first concern for most people is generally tuition cost and location. While schools that are farther away can be cheaper initially, having to relocate can quickly eliminate that difference. You will also want to check the law school rankings that determine the assessed quality of each program. Keep in mind, however, that they rankings don’t always tell the whole story. While it may be true that Yale University earns a higher rating than Notre Dame, it’s also well known that Yale is a more liberal institution while Notre Dame, being a Catholic college, is more conservative. You will want to read between the lines to find a school that is the best match for both your budget and your values.
