I was driving to the store with a friend of mine from Columbia the other day; when we passed a building and she wanted to know what it was for.  I informed her it was the Driver’s License Office where you go to renew your license.  I told her that you can have your photo taken there and also get other licenses for fishing and hunting as well.  She said that she will tell her brother and her father where it is so they can come get their tag for their new boat.  She wrote down the address and directions of how to get there.

I have been a home inspector in the state of California for over 15 years. I have seen it all, and am thinking about taking my career to a new level by becoming an Inspector Instructor. Even with the poor housing market, people are still moving, people are still buying and selling homes, and need appraisals for their properties. It is a good profession, and I think I would make a pretty good teacher. Especially since many who would gravitate toward real estate may be reticent with the current economy. As an inspector, the work comes to you, and you don’t have to chase it.

My dad asked me to help him clean his gutters.  His idea of help was bracing his ladder so it would not fall over with him on it.  That even though at times it looked like it was leaning about 30 degrees to the right or left.   I did not think it looked safe for him if he fell off and I knew that would not be safe for me if he fell on me.   I went to the hardware store and they recommended the Levelok Ladder Leveler to put on the bottom of his ladder.  It works like a charm and he looks much safer up there.
