Making Presentations: Are You Loud Enough?

When you are giving a speech, you must speak loud enough for everyone to hear. In some lecture halls and auditoriums, there may be microphones and sound equipment available. If it is available, you should use it.

In most cases, you will not have that equipment available to you. While you are Prosper presentations, you should be aware of how loud you are. Most people follow the rule that if you think you're loud enough, speak louder. You should not yell at your audience, but make yourself heard. There is no point in giving a presentation when the audience can't hear you.

Writing a Successful Presentation

Having a successful presentation is brought about by two factors – good delivery and good presentation itself. How to write a presentation that will be successful is every presenter’s concern.  As a start, there are some basic things to remember when writing a presentation. The first thing you need to do is create your outline. Making an outline will save you considerable time in creating your presentation. It will help you see your overall presentation. When you’re done writing your presentation, don’t forget to proofread it for grammatical errors. Also if you are using PowerPoint, minimize the number of slides to use, and, as much as possible, use charts and drawings to emphasize your point, not in words. Wordy PowerPoint presentations will bore your audience.
