Pregnancy Disability Law Requirements
Did you realize that if you are pregnant and facing a disability as a result of the pregnancy that you have legal rights in the United States to continue to work in the same establishment? Even if you have to take off work for up to 12 weeks, your former employer is legally obligated to hold your job for you so that it is available for you whenever you return. Known as the pregnancy disability law, it is something that is put there in order to help you to make sure that you are not discriminated against as a result of your disability.
