Not All Discount Aftermarket Parts Are Equal
I know all of the discount auto parts stores to go to, and even how to select used car parts from the junkyard. It is an art, but one that you must learn if you want to work on your own cars. The problem is that there is so much variety among discount aftermarket parts. Some so-called discount auto performance parts are actually nothing but junk. If you make the wrong purchase, you might end up with something that is not of the same quality as the parts the car came with. Other times, however, you can actually find discount auto parts that are of a better quality than the stock gear. Although there are some resources that will help you out, the only way to really learn is to know someone with experience in the automotive industry.
